Being able to type in Arabic is an extremely helpful skill. Here is a guide that I created for myself when first learning to type.

I attached it to the wall next to my computer screen, and could look over to it for quick reference as I typed. Gradually I memorized all of the letter locations without really even trying!

Note that since this is Arabic you are learning, the alphabet starts on the right hand side of the page. (Someone asked me why it was 'backwards'!).
